Driver / Dice error on Windows?

GOXLR Utility is an open source application that provides full control over TC Helicon GoXLR and GoXLR MINI devices. It offers audio routing, mixer controls, device profiles, custom lighting, and firmware management — all from a modern, cross-platform interface.

GOXLR Utility supports Windows (ZIP), Linux (RPM and DEB for amd64), and macOS (Intel x86_64 and Apple Silicon M1/M2/M3/M4). Download the build for your platform from the Downloads page.

This is one of the most common GoXLR issues. Follow these steps:

  1. Check if the driver is installed. Open Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps (or Add or remove programs). Search for TC-Helicon GoXLR USB Audio Driver. If it appears, the driver is already installed.
  2. Close GOXLR Utility (and the official GoXLR app if open) before reinstalling the driver.
  3. Download and run the official driver installer: TC-Helicon GoXLR Driver (ZIP)
  4. Run the installer more than once if needed. The first run may uninstall the old driver; a second run often completes the install.
  5. Restart your PC, reconnect the GoXLR, then launch GOXLR Utility again.

Visit our Downloads page and select the package for your platform. Windows: download the ZIP, extract, and run setup. Linux RPM: sudo rpm -i goxlr-utility-*.rpm. Linux DEB: sudo dpkg -i goxlr-utility-*.deb. macOS: open the .pkg installer. See our Documentation for detailed guides.

After downloading, open a terminal and run sha256sum filename on Linux or shasum -a 256 filename on macOS. Compare the output with the SHA256 hash listed on our Downloads page. You can also click the "Copy" button next to each hash for easy comparison.
